Hot Choc

Brrr... it's pretty icy out there at the moment! Time to slip into your local café for a winter warmer to revive those cold bones. There you'll find just the thing: our new Phoenix Hot Choc. Delivered with the same luscious velvety tones as that famous British pop band from the 70's, our Hot Choc is a hug in a mug. Made from natural ingredients, Phoenix Hot Choc gives you an authentic chocolate taste to melt your marshmallows. While there is no firm proof that chocolate is an aphrodisiac, we think this one comes pretty close. Indulge at your local café today, or if your local doesn't stock it yet, keep on them until they do!

For your viewing pleasure

The New Zealand International Film Festival opened last week and it gives us warm fuzzies to be a proud sponsor for the 7th year in a row. There are plenty of great films scheduled - check www.nzff.co.nz. We're personally going to catch Garbage Warrior, a film about architect Michael Reynolds' vision for sustainable living and the efforts he's gone to, to get the state of New Mexico to approve this living - houses made of beer cans, car tyres and plastic water bottles!

Seems Transit NZ intends to forge ahead with their typically myopic plan; strengthening the "clip-on" to the Auckland Harbour Bridge without adding the proposed cycle-ways to it. We're not happy about this and we're not alone. With horrendous peak hour traffic and petrol prices sky high, there are a lot of cycle lane supporters out there (9,480 at last count). From our perspective, more cycles and less cars equals fewer carbon emissions and cleaner air; it's a no-brainer really.

If you think a cycle lane should be part of the clip-on upgrade join us and show your support at the official online supporters website www.getacross.co.nz

Our Light Sparkling range was nominated, and has made it as a finalist in the SIAL DÓr (Salon Internationale de Alimentation) Awards - a contest run as part of the world's second biggest food show held in Paris every two years. We're proud as punch and really quite humbled to have a product internationally recognised. Judging takes place in November, so we'll keep you posted.

At the end of the day though, it's you our loyal customer, not judges who we aim to please and will continually innovate for. As long as you're happy, we are!

Last month we added two Limited Edition flavours to our organic soft drink range. You guys love them so much we might have to make them part of our permanent family of drinks!

Creaming Soda harks back to a time when a carbon footprint was a mark on the carpet. We've created a natural vanilla delight using an authentic organic recipe. Give one a try and relive those milk bar days!

Our organic Herbal Cola does not contain da herb, but it does contain Ginkgo Biloba to keep you feeling sharp, Damiana and Ginseng for energy, and Passionflower to ree-lax. All combining to leave you feeling Irie mon! And in case you don't know what Irie means, it is Rasta for being at peace and harmony with yourself, and your environment of course.
